We manage all these backstage logistics, but please note that we need adequate lead time to ensure our artists are fully prepared to bring the authentic energy of these traditions to your event. Our repertoire exists because we believe these traditions should be alive, not just museum pieces. When you hire us for a Theyyam or Ottanthullal performance, you are getting more than a show. You are inviting a lineage of storytelling into your space. We maintain high standards of authenticity. Our artists are trained professionals who treat every performance as a ritual. For Theyyam, this means the deep, intense preparation of costumes and body art that carries the spiritual weight of the tradition. For Ottanthullal, it is about the rhythmic, satirical storytelling that requires years of vocal and physical practice. Beyond stage drama, we offer character-based performances like our Hanuman depictions, which are popular for religious processions and festivals. These add a visual spectacle that connects directly with the audience. If you are planning an event and want to include something beyond the mainstream, our team can help you select the right act. We guide you on stage space requirements, audio needs, and the cultural context of each performance so your guests can truly appreciate the art. As we often say, 'Idu ella kade maadisabeku' (this needs to be performed everywhere), and we are here to make that happen for your celebration. ## About Kalaarohana Arts We are Kalaarohana Arts, and we believe traditional stories deserve a stage today. Our goal is to keep these arts alive by bringing them to your celebrations, ensuring every performance feels like a piece of history coming to life.
