Since these ceremonies involve a lot of movement, I focus on mid-forearm coverage that stays intact while you celebrate, using my homemade, organic henna for that deep, dark stain. Engagement mehndi is a unique art form. Unlike full bridal coverage, pre-wedding designs for your roka or ring ceremony need to strike a balance between being elaborate enough for photos and light enough for you to enjoy the function freely. ### My Approach to Engagement Henna When you book me for your engagement, we typically aim for mid-forearm coverage. This allows us to include intricate traditional patterns, mandalas, or modern grid work without the extensive sitting time required for bridal sessions. I love adding personalized elements like the couple's initials or ring motifs on the palms or back of the hand. It adds a layer of intimacy that makes the design feel like it belongs to you and your partner alone. ### The Organic Difference Every cone I use is homemade and 100% organic. For engagement functions, you want a color that develops quickly and stays rich throughout the wedding festivities. My chemical-free henna ensures a deep, natural stain that looks stunning against your engagement outfit. I also share my specific aftercare tips, like using clove steam, to help the color bloom beautifully. ### Travel and Commitment Based in Mumbai, I travel across the city and beyond to reach my brides. Once we have finalized your booking, consider it confirmed. Whether you are hosting a small, intimate gathering at home or a grand event at a banquet, my focus is on providing a comfortable, seamless experience. I am fully dedicated to ensuring your hands look exactly how you imagined them for your big moment. ## About Kajal Mehendi Art I believe mehndi is my true calling, not just a job. Whether I am traveling across Mumbai or sitting with you to brainstorm a design that features your unique story, I am all about making you feel special. When I take your booking, you can trust that I will be there to make your day look beautiful.
