In my classes, we don't just learn steps, we work on the lines, the floorwork transitions, and how to carry yourself in heels without wobbling. Whether you are a total beginner or just want to level up your performance game, we break down those intimidating moves until you are feeling confident enough to own the room. Learning to dance in heels is not just about wearing the shoes, it is about building ankle strength and mastering your core. We start with the fundamentals: how to shift your weight properly, the mechanics of a clean turn, and the art of floorwork that keeps you safe while looking fierce. We focus heavily on musicality. You will learn how to listen to the track, catch those subtle beats, and choreograph movements that tell a story. Whether it is a slow, sensual routine or a fast-paced, commercial jazz funk piece, we work on the performance aspect until it feels natural. Safety first, though. We always do a thorough warm-up to protect your ankles and knees before we even touch the choreography. I keep my groups small enough so I can give you personalized feedback on your posture and lines. We record videos at the end of every class, not just for the gram, but so you can watch yourself, track your progress, and see where you are nailing it versus where you can tweak your movement.
