You're looking at the legends who built K9 Gurukul—dogs like Tyson and Honey whose patience and temperament directly inspired the reward-based methods we use today to help your own dog learn. At K9 Gurukul, we choose to openly share our 'Rainbow Bridge' moments because it reflects the honest reality of living with dogs. We believe that a training centre should be more than just a facility; it should be a place where every animal’s unique history is honoured. Whether it was Tyson, our champion Rottweiler, or Honey, who starred in local films, these dogs weren't just clients—they were our teachers. ### Why Our History Matters to You When we train a dog, we aren't just giving commands. We are looking for the same spark, focus, and connection we saw in our own pack members. Our training philosophy is built on these memories. When you bring your dog to our Basavanagudi facility for boarding or obedience training, you get the benefit of a decade of experience learned from dogs who truly lived life to the fullest. ### Our Commitment to Your Dog We know that leaving your pet for daycare or boarding is a big decision. That is why we manage our pack with the same care we gave our own legends. We ensure: * **Supervised Interaction:** Your dog joins a pack that is managed by professionals who understand body language, not just someone watching from a distance. * **Real-World Focus:** We teach dogs to handle distractions—the same skills that helped our celebrity dogs shine on set and in the show ring. * **Community Support:** We are a family, and we extend that support to our clients, offering advice on behavior, socialization, and even adoption for those looking to expand their own pack. If you are looking for a place where your dog is treated as a family member rather than a number, you have come to the right place. We invite you to reach out and see if our pack is the right fit for yours. ## About K9 Gurukul We are K9 Gurukul, the team that calls Basavanagudi home. We don't just run a training centre; we live this life with dogs, celebrating the victories and holding space for the ones who have left us, always keeping that same heart for your dog.
