We don't just post a flyer on social media and wait; we physically scour the locality, talk to nearby shopkeepers, and activate our network of fellow dog parents to keep an eye out for your pup. If your dog has gone missing, don't waste time—reach out to us immediately so we can start the search on the ground. ### Our Approach to Missing Pets Finding a lost dog in a busy city like Bangalore requires more than just luck. It needs boots on the ground and a structured plan. At K9 Gurukul, we approach every missing pet case as if it were our own. **Why Timing Matters** Dogs often go into 'fight or flight' mode when they are scared, making them move further away from home as time passes. We help you create an effective 'Missing Dog Alert' that highlights key identifiers and share it across our specific local channels. **What We Do on the Ground** - **Physical Search:** We help organize search parties in your immediate neighborhood, ensuring we check areas dogs commonly hide in, like parking basements, construction sites, and quiet lanes. - **Network Activation:** We use our connections with local vets, delivery riders, and other pet parents who frequent the area where the dog was last seen. - **Behavioral Guidance:** We advise you on how to set up 'scent stations'—leaving familiar items like their bed or your worn clothes—to help them find their way back. **How You Can Help** If you have found a dog, please secure them in a safe, enclosed area first. Keep them hydrated, and check if they have a collar or tag. Contacting a rescue team like ours early on helps in quickly cross-referencing against active 'lost pet' reports. Our goal is to ensure that no dog stays on the streets longer than necessary, and every family gets their pet back safely. ## About K9 Gurukul At K9 Gurukul, we’re more than just trainers—we’re a family.
