We conduct a thorough behavioral assessment and family compatibility check to make sure both you and your new companion are set up for success. Whether you are looking for a puppy or a senior dog, we prioritize the right fit over a quick placement. When you choose to adopt with us, you are not just getting a pet; you are saving a life. We take the responsibility of rehoming very seriously. Our team rescues dogs from various backgrounds—some from the streets, others surrendered by previous owners due to relocation or personal circumstances. Before any dog is listed for adoption, we ensure they are medically prepped. This includes age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and health checks to ensure they are ready to settle into their new homes. We also focus heavily on temperament matching. We do not believe in rushed adoptions. We look at your lifestyle, housing situation, and family setup to ensure the dog you choose fits in perfectly. Whether you are looking for an energetic Indie puppy or a breed-specific rescue, we guide you through the transition. We provide all health records and behavioral notes to help you manage the initial adjustment period. If you are ready to open your home, we are here to help you make the right choice for both you and the dog. ## About K9 Gurukul We are a team of dog lovers who see every rescue as a family member waiting for their forever home. We walk the talk when it comes to adoption, and we will support you through the transition to make sure your new friend settles in comfortably.
