## About Functional Art for Your Home

When you commission a piece like our balcony tables or kitchen boards, we start by sketching your ideas on paper. We work with solid pine, treating every plank to ensure it handles daily use while keeping that natural, rustic wood grain visible under our hand-painted designs.

Our approach to functional art is simple: we want to create things that you actually use, not just admire from a distance. Every item in this collection begins as raw, New Zealand-grade solid pine wood. Whether you need a space-saving foldable table for your balcony or a personalized serving board with a hand-lettered 'Vanakkam' to welcome guests, we treat each piece as a canvas.

We don't believe in one-size-fits-all. When you come to us for a custom piece, we collaborate on the design. We offer 1-2 rounds of digital sketches to finalize typography, layout, and theme, ensuring the final product fits your home perfectly. Because we use solid wood, we take the finishing process seriously—applying triple-coat Polyurethane or Melamine varnish to ensure your furniture and decor resist scratches and water spills for years to come.

Our functional decor is built to bridge the gap between utility and personal expression. From ladder bookshelves that hold your favorite reads to rustic photo clippers that display family memories, everything is hand-sanded with softened corners for safety and comfort. We believe that your home should tell your story, and we are here to help you build the pieces that make that happen.
