It is the gatekeeper of your home’s energy. I personally place the silver string and Navgrah gems under the threshold before the final tile work is locked in. Doing this at the right time ensures your entrance is set up with intention, helping you start your Grah Pravesh with peace of mind. Many of my clients in Mumbai ask me how to bring positivity into a home without doing major structural changes. The answer often starts at the entrance. In Vastu Shastra, the main door threshold is where energy enters the house. If you are already doing a renovation, this is the perfect time to address it. ### The Umbra Patti Process I do not just lay a stone. My installation process is structural and intentional: * **Preparation:** We clean and level the floor area at the entrance before any tile or granite is laid. * **Placement:** I position the silver string and Navgrah gems in the specific alignment required. This is done before the final flooring, so these elements are permanently set within the foundation of your door. * **Sealing:** Once set, I ensure the threshold is perfectly leveled with your flooring tiles to avoid tripping hazards, keeping safety and tradition in balance. ### Why Combine Civil Work with Vastu? Most people call for Vastu advice after the house is finished. By then, it is often too late to place remedies under the floor. When you hire me for your home renovation, we discuss these small, significant details during the planning stage. Whether you are living in a compact 1BHK or a larger apartment, incorporating these traditional practices into the civil stage saves you from breaking floors later. It is a one-time process that makes your home feel more grounded and welcoming from the very first day. ## About JP Home Decor I am Santosh Nile, and for me, a home renovation is not just about civil work or furniture.
