I want my cakes to do that for others too. It’s not just about the dessert; it’s your story, in sugar and flour. ### Custom Cakes for Every Moment - Weddings: From elegant, hand-painted wedding cake styles to towering showpieces (yup, we’ve done 12-foot ones), I love tackling big dreams. - Birthdays & More: Whether it’s a kid’s cartoon hero or a cake showing off someone’s cricket obsession, I enjoy making personalised birthday cake art. - All Celebrations: Baby showers, baptisms, company parties - if it’s a reason to celebrate, I’m in. ### Details That Matter - Obsessed with detail - think custom sugar flower decorations and figurines that actually look like you. - I work with fondant for clean edges, but I also love the vibe of all-buttercream. - If you want edible gold leaf cake accents or a cake painted like a comic book, bring it on. - We can even build themed dessert table design with kueh (sweets), cupcakes, cookies, macarons - basically, the whole works. ### How We Work Together - You bring ideas, colours, and wild references. - I offer a Cake Slices Box so you can try flavours before you decide. - Some cakes take days, some weeks - big stuff needs time. - Delivery and setup for big cakes, tips for the small ones. Not every cake is perfect, but every cake means something. That’s what I love about this work. ## Highlights Browse through Joonie Tan's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/joonietan/bespoke-cake-pastry-design/featured) - [Video: This was one for the books, the biggest cake I’ve ever made, standing almost 12 feet tall! Malaysia roots, Indian home - lots of chaos, food, and family. My husband’s wild ideas, my obsession with getting things done, and our kid Zev zipping around. We celebrate with pizza and kombucha, not fancy stuff. My Malaysian Chinese culture is everywhere here. It’s not always easy, but every messy moment is worth it. Gong Xi Fa Cai! ### My work - **Pastry Art, Baking Classes & Malaysian Cafe**: We make custom cakes for all occasions, teach baking, and serve Malaysian coffee house classics. - **Lavonne Cake Studio**: From Lambeth piping wedding cakes to quirky birthday cakes, we bring cake dreams to life. Kids cake decorating camp is back too! - **Kopitiam Lah Cafe**: Our Malaysian kopi breakfast set and kaya toast bring a taste of home to Bangalore. It’s a vibe, not just food. - **Teaching & Pastry Demos**: I teach at Lavonne Academy and run pastry demo workshops for bakers and cake artists. ## More services from Joonie Tan - [Authentic Malaysian Cuisine](https://mytribe.in/joonietan/authentic-malaysian-cuisine) · ₹250-800 per person (estimate) - [Baking & Pastry Education](https://mytribe.in/joonietan/baking-pastry-education) · ₹1,500-7,000 per workshop/session (estimate) ## Book To book Joonie Tan, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Bespoke%20Cake%20%26%20Pastry%20Design%20by%20Joonie%20Tan.)
