You don’t button both. Keep the top one closed for that sharp waistline and broad shoulder silhouette, and leave the bottom one open. It’s not just for looks; it gives you the room you actually need to sit down without looking like you’re fighting your own clothes. ### The Suit Rules Most guys think a suit is just a suit, but it is all in the details. When wearing a two-button blazer, 'always' close the top one to show off your frame. The bottom one is strictly for comfort, so keep it open. For double-breasted jackets, keep it open to show off your waistline and keep your movement easy. Never force your jacket on; slide one arm in first, then swing it around to save your shoulders and the fabric. ### The Shirt and Trouser Basics Your shirt should never bunch up. If you are getting a custom shirt, ask for a bit more length to keep it tucked. If it feels loose, get small pleats at the back to keep the front flat and sharp. For trousers, your wardrobe needs five colors to survive: Black, White, Beige, Charcoal Grey, and Navy Blue. These will carry you through any meeting or party. Remember, your socks should always match your trousers—not your shoes. Mixing these up is a silly mistake that kills the whole look. ### The Final Touch Small tools make a big difference. Always keep a shoe horn handy so you don't ruin your shoes or hurt your fingers trying to squeeze in. And if you are tying a tie, learn the double knot.
