I always bring extra sand-stable flooring and wind-resistant floral structures, so your arch doesn't wobble and your guests stay comfortable even when the evening sea breeze picks up. Planning a beachside event in Mumbai requires more than just good taste; it needs preparation for the elements. My process starts with understanding the tide patterns and the specific wind conditions of your chosen beach. I use heavy-duty, sand-safe bases for all backdrops and arches, ensuring that whether you opt for a floral ring or a geometric frame, everything stays upright. ### How I Approach Your Coastal Setup * **Lighting that complements the sunset:** I don't just use standard floodlights. I prefer string lights, Edison bulbs, and lanterns that soften as the sun goes down, creating a warm glow that matches the ocean backdrop rather than overpowering it. * **Flooring and Pathways:** You don’t want your guests struggling with heels in the sand. I prioritize setting up solid pathways and elevated stages that allow for easy movement while keeping the natural beach aesthetic intact. * **Fabric Choice:** I select fabrics that hold up well outdoors. Heavy drapes can get messy with the wind, so I often use lighter, flowy materials or specific tensions that look elegant without being a hassle. Whether you want a classic mandap facing the Arabian Sea or a modern setup with personalized neon signs, I tailor the layout to the unique topography of your venue. If you have a specific date in mind, let’s discuss the tide and lighting times for that day so we can plan the ceremony perfectly. ## About Jewel Decorators I’m Kashyap from Jewel Decorators. I’ve spent years obsessing over lighting and floral arrangements to get that perfect sunset glow at Mumbai’s beaches. If you want a setup that feels like a natural extension of the ocean rather than just a stage dropped on the sand, let's talk.
