In the Mughal garden setup featured here, we constructed a pavilion using custom hand-painted panels, laser-cut jaali arches, and tiled flooring. This approach transforms a temporary event site into a solid, architectural space that feels authentic rather than like a stage set. Our approach to the Rich & Royal Hues theme is rooted in storytelling through materiality. We avoid standard templates entirely. Instead, we work with authentic Indian elements—antique brass vessels, Ajrak-style textiles, and traditional motifs—to ground the design in heritage while keeping the execution modern. ### Design Philosophy Every event we plan, whether a wedding in Mumbai or a destination celebration, starts with the architecture of the venue. We look for ways to frame the environment, using 12ft tall mandap structures and custom ceiling installations to change the perspective of the room. By mixing lush florals like tuberoses and marigolds with structural elements such as mirror-inlay pillars and painted wood, we create a sensory experience. ### Practical Execution * **Mandap Construction:** We specialize in custom carpentry rather than just draping. Expect 12ft by 12ft structures with hand-painted detailing and mirror work. * **Materiality:** We use high-density floral applications, premium linens, and heavy upholstery (stripes, scallops, and traditional prints) to add weight and elegance. * **Lighting:** Our lighting design focuses on profile lighting for architectural features and heavy use of candle styling to soften the visual impact, especially for evening receptions. We design for the details that people notice when they sit down—the specific texture of a table runner, the weight of the brassware, and the fragrance of fresh jasmine.
