When we design for a venue like the Taj Lands End or a mountain-top in Mussoorie, we start with your narrative, choosing materials like French cane, raw silk, or hand-painted backdrops that fit the specific mood you want to set. When we take on a project, we look at the venue differently. A poolside in Mumbai or a palace in Jaipur demands its own distinct visual language. Our process involves mixing textures, such as raw silk draping for weddings or using natural wood and florals for a relaxed brunch. We handle the production, from fabricating wire mesh arches for evening galas to sourcing the right vintage brass props for a heritage look. We travel for events, bringing our team and our style to wherever your story is taking place. We have designed everything from beachside setups in Mauritius to intimate ceremonies at the Birla House. If you are planning an event that prioritizes personality over standard packages, let us discuss how we can build a world around your ideas. ## About Its an Affair We are Anusha and Rishita, the duo behind Its an Affair. We believe your celebration should feel like you, which is why we skip catalogue formulas and build themes from scratch.
