Whether we are sourcing local textures like jute and sea shells for coastal venues or selecting mountain-hardy blooms for hillside festivities, we ensure the design feels native to the landscape rather than imported, creating a seamless and organic visual story. Designing for destination weddings and social events requires more than just a creative vision; it demands a deep understanding of logistics, climate, and local architectural heritage. When we travel to venues like The Oberoi Udaivilas or beachfront resorts in Mauritius, our goal is to complement the existing beauty of the site, not hide it. ### The Art of Destination Design For outdoor settings, we shift our focus to structural elements that can withstand the environment. In the mountains, this means using metal structures that can hold against the wind while framing the view. By the beach, we lean into natural materials like cane, bamboo, and wood, paired with tropical foliage that thrives in the humidity. We avoid heavy, non-breathable fabrics, opting instead for lighter textiles that move with the breeze. ### Cultural & Location Integration We love letting the destination dictate a portion of the theme. In Rajasthan, our 'Pink Jaipuri Bagh' concept utilizes the city's architectural motifs, while our 'Sheesh Mahal' setups play with reflective surfaces to amplify the golden hour light found in palace courtyards. Every setup is a collaboration between your personal narrative and the destination's history. ### Practical Execution We handle the entire production, from shipping custom-made props to managing on-site assembly. You won't find generic templates here. Whether it's a sunrise ceremony in the Himalayas or a sunset reception on the island, we bring our own team and aesthetic eye to ensure that the production quality remains consistent, no matter the distance from our Mumbai studio. We prioritize local floral sourcing where possible to ensure freshness and sustainability, blending it with our signature accents to keep your event feeling like a true, personal celebration. ## About Its an Affair We are Anusha and Rishita. For us, planning a destination event is not just about the venue; it is about finding the soul of a location and weaving your story into it. Whether you are dreaming of a mountain mehendi or a beachside sunset, we are there to make sure every detail looks like you.
