## About Modern Marvels: Object, Shadow & Mixed Media Theatre

Unlike static puppet shows, our modern performances often integrate live video projections and mixed-media elements directly into the narrative. This setup turns the stage into a cinematic canvas, allowing us to combine physical puppetry with film techniques that appeal to both children and adults who appreciate experimental, contemporary theatre.

Puppetry is a constantly evolving art form. We move beyond the limitations of traditional stages to explore object theatre, shadow play, and integrated mixed media. By incorporating live film, digital projections, and dance, we transform simple stories into immersive visual journeys that challenge and delight the senses.

Our approach to modern puppetry is rooted in collaboration. We regularly host experimental troupes from countries like Poland, Mexico, and Korea, bringing international techniques to Delhi. Whether it is using 'Black Box' theatre to make characters appear in mid-air or utilizing shadow puppets to create intricate silhouettes against a backlit screen, the focus is always on the visual impact and the narrative heart of the show.

These performances require a specific technical environment. We typically deploy a professional 'Black Box' setup with masking wings and dedicated lighting rigs to control the atmosphere. This allows for the precise, focused storytelling that these modern pieces demand. It is not just about the puppets; it is about the interplay of light, music, and performance that keeps the audience captivated from start to finish. If you are planning an event that calls for something intellectually stimulating or artistically unique, these productions offer a compelling alternative to conventional entertainment.
