## About Specialty Hip-Hop Nights

### Why I Do This

If you know me, you know it's always about hip-hop. I got tired of not hearing the real stuff, so I started my own nights to bring the community together. Hip Hop Ain't Dead – that's what I believe, and that's the energy I want at every party.

### What My Nights Are About

I host specialty hip-hop DJ nights in Mumbai and sometimes Pune, each with its own flavor:

- **The Grind:** This one's all modern and classic hip-hop, with a packed dancefloor and regular guest artists. I love throwing in Dancehall and Afro beats night vibes late into the set.
- **Homie:** If you want pure nostalgia, this is the old school hip-hop party for you. All those R&B tunes you miss, plus tracks you won't hear anywhere else.
- **On The Road:** I pop up at underground hip-hop events and collabs, like Hip Hop Fridaze and Pride Month specials. I like switching things up and keeping it fresh.

### What You Get

- No one gets lost in the crowd. I want you vibing, showing off your moves, feeling like family.
- It's not just another party in the Mumbai hip-hop scene – it's a spot for real connection.
- Sometimes the venue gets packed, sometimes it's more chill. Either way, the energy is always mad real.

### Shoutout To My People

Every person who comes through means everything to me. When you jam with me, it's next level. The support, the moves, the love – that's what keeps me doing this.

## Meet your expert

### My story

Yo, I’m DJ Ishani. Grew up loving those 80s, 90s, early 2000s hip-hop and R&B tracks, the real party anthems. Couldn’t find that vibe anywhere, so I started ‘Homie’—my own throwback party. On stage, people call me a superthug, sometimes a superstar, but trust, I’m just out here feeling the music (and sneaking in some Arabic jams, shhh). Nothing beats a crowd vibing together. That’s the magic for me.

### My work

- **DJ for Parties, Clubs, Festivals & Corporate Events**: I play everywhere—clubs, music festivals, private gigs, office parties. Always high energy, always interactive.
- **Old School Hip-Hop & R&B Specialist**: If you want that 90s R&B party or old school hip-hop DJ, I’m your plug. My ‘Homie’ nights are all about those classics.
- **Crowd Vibes & Interactive Sets**: My thing? Getting everyone moving. We groove, we jump, we vibe till the floor shakes. Interactive club DJ style, always a banger.
- **The Grind Hip-Hop Event**: I run ‘The Grind’ too—hip-hop all day, new and old. Rain or shine, the party’s on.
