## About The Grind: My Saturday Night Hip-Hop Jam

When you bring me on board for your private party, I bring the exact same energy that makes The Grind at Khar Social a weekly staple. I don't just hit play; I build an interactive set that keeps the dance floor packed, usually rolling with my MC to keep the vibe electric. If you're looking for that raw, old-school hip-hop feel that gets everyone moving, let's connect.

The Grind isn't just a gig; it's a weekly residency where I get to play the music I truly love—that gritty 90s hip-hop, R&B, and dancehall that hits different. This space at Khar Social serves as the testing ground for every playlist I build. When you hire me for a private event, that's the experience you're getting: a tested, high-energy flow that doesn't rely on generic trends.

My setup is professional and straightforward. Whether we are doing a solo hip-hop set or bringing in my MC, Bobkat, for that full-throttle experience, I ensure the gear—from my Pioneer console to the sound connection—is locked and ready to perform. I play for the crowd, not for the algorithm.

I specialize in sets that prioritize flow. We keep the transitions tight and the energy high, whether it's a private birthday bash, a corporate event, or a club night. If your crowd wants to vibe to Kendrick, Afrobeat tracks, or those golden-era R&B anthems, you've found the right DJ. Let's make your party a movement.

## About Ishani

I'm DJ Ishani. Growing up on 90s hip-hop and R&B shaped the DJ I am today, and I still carry that love for the golden era into every single set I play. Whether I'm running my weekly residency at Khar Social or spinning at your private bash, my goal is always the same: keep the floor shaking and the vibes high.
