I don’t just play a pre-mixed playlist, I interact with the crowd to keep the spirit high and the dance floor packed all night. Since I often bring my MC, Bobkat, along for these gigs, we make sure the energy is constant, with live call-and-response and hype work that makes every party feel like a family affair. Music connects us, and I’m all about creating spaces where everyone feels safe, seen, and ready to dance. My sets for Pride and community events focus on high-energy hip-hop, classic R&B, and dancehall, tailored to keep the floor moving from start to finish. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with incredible partners like Gaysi Family and MUBI, and those experiences taught me how to read a crowd that values expression, freedom, and love. When you hire me for a community event in Mumbai or Pune, you aren’t just getting a DJ; you’re getting a partner in the vibe. I take the time to understand the flow of your event, whether it's a launch party, a pride celebration, or an intimate community gathering. I don’t play by corporate trends. I play the tracks that make people feel something. With my experience at venues like Bira 91 Taproom and various city hotspots, I know how to adapt my sound to the room’s energy. Expect an interactive experience. I thrive on the mic and the decks, keeping the momentum up with vocal cues and seamless transitions. My goal is to ensure that the music matches the significance of your celebration, providing a soundtrack that celebrates love and unity. Let’s get together, discuss your event’s run-of-show, and ensure the music is the one thing you don’t have to worry about. ## About Ishani I’m DJ Ishani, and for me, the magic happens when the music brings people together.
