I coordinate with sound engineers to ensure my hip-hop and R&B sets, often featuring my MC Bobkat, cut through the arena acoustics. This ensures the bass hits every corner of the venue exactly like it does in an intimate club setting. Transitioning from club residencies to massive stages requires more than just picking tracks. It demands an understanding of how sound travels in open-air venues and large convention centers. When we perform at events like the Zomato Feeding India Concert, my focus shifts to maintaining that raw, high-energy connection with thousands of people, not just the front row. My setup relies on industry-standard Pioneer Nexus consoles to ensure zero latency during high-octane transitions. I work closely with event teams during our 90-minute sound checks to lock in the vocal clarity for my MC, Bobkat, ensuring our call-and-response chants land perfectly. If you are organizing a music festival or a large-scale event in Mumbai or Pune, I bring the gear, the technical experience, and the specific hip-hop track selection that keeps festival lineups feeling authentic. ## About Ishani I'm DJ Ishani. Growing up, I lived for 90s hip-hop, and now I get to blast those same tracks to thousands of people. It is not just about the music; it is about that electric feeling when the whole crowd jumps together.
