## About The Promise: Engagements & Ring Ceremonies

When I shoot ring ceremonies, I don't look for the stage setup; I look for the way your hands tremble when you exchange bands or that sudden relief after the ring slips on. These moments move fast, so I prioritize being invisible, letting the ceremony unfold while I document the raw chemistry between you both, whether it is a grand hall or a quiet home gathering.

### Beyond the Ring Exchange

The engagement ceremony is often the first time you and your partner are officially 'us' in front of your families. It is delicate and full of nerves, which is exactly why I love shooting them. While others focus on the decor, I am looking for the look you share when you think no one is watching. 

### How I Document Your Engagement

*   **The Candid Moments:** I do not make you hold poses for hours. I wait for the candid reactions—your mother's pride, your friend's teasing, and the way you hold each other's hands. 
*   **Focus on Detail:** The rings, the mehndi, the outfit textures—these small things hold memories of the day. I make sure these are captured with as much importance as the portraits.
*   **Timeless Portraits:** We will find a quiet corner for some couple portraits, away from the chaos. I prefer natural light and real, unforced smiles over stiff studio posing.

### Practical Planning

- **Venue Matters:** Whether you are hosting a small home gathering in Hebbal or a large celebration at a Bengaluru resort, I adapt my gear to the lighting. If it is an indoor hall, I use subtle off-camera lighting that preserves the warmth of the room without making it look like a hospital.
- **Working Together:** If you are nervous, do not worry. I spend the first few minutes blending in until you forget the camera is there. That is when the real magic happens.
- **Timeline:** I typically deliver sneak peeks within a few days so you can share your big news with friends and family immediately.
