The truth is, these small, tangible details are the anchors for your memories. When you look back years from now, that close-up of your mehndi or the intricate design of your mangalsutra will bring the entire day rushing back to you. I don't just snap a photo of your jewelry; I look for the light, the background, and how it fits into the story of your day. Whether it is the texture of your silk saree, the specific knot of a varmala, or the way the sunlight hits your rings, these elements deserve as much attention as the big rituals. If you want these shots, my advice is to tell your makeup artist and planner to have your accessories ready early. It is hard to capture the perfect ring shot when everyone is rushing to get to the mandap. I prefer shooting these quietly, often while you are getting ready, so you have stunning photos of your accessories without feeling like you are posing for a product catalog. I believe that capturing the 'behind-the-scenes' elements—the outfit textures, the bridal jewelry, and the decor details—is just as vital as shooting the main ceremony.
