I focused heavily on my skin prep—using a full CTM routine—to ensure that my makeup stayed flawless while I managed the camera for my mini-vlog. Even when doing it myself, I treated my skin as I would for any bridal client, because base longevity is non-negotiable in Mumbai’s humidity. When I decided to do my own engagement makeup, I wanted to demonstrate exactly what I teach my students at my Dongri academy. I opted for a look that aligned with my personal style—soft, elegant, and long-lasting. Dealing with Mumbai’s climate meant my skin prep was the priority. I used a strict CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) routine and a high-coverage HD base that could withstand the studio lights and the event duration. One common question I get from brides is how to handle specific challenges like watery eyes or heavy bridal outfits. In this look, I went for a balanced eye and lip combination that felt right for my outfit. For you, I apply the same logic. Whether it is your Nikkah, Walima, or a Haldi function, we sit down, discuss your outfit, and decide on the vibe—be it full glam or soft, subtle beauty. My studio in Dongri is open for trials, and I also travel across Mumbai to make sure you get that perfect, worry-free finish. Remember, the base is 80% of the game, and the rest is just the right products and a bit of patience.
