I design each piece to fit your specific floor plan, accounting for everything from the height of your heaviest brass idol to the placement of electrical points for backlighting. We use moisture-resistant BWR plywood for the structure, ensuring your sacred space stays pristine and avoids warping over time, even with daily rituals and incense usage. ### Elevating Your Sacred Space Creating a divine atmosphere at home doesn't require a large dedicated room. Whether you have a compact apartment in Navi Mumbai or a villa, my approach focuses on maximizing utility while maintaining a distinct, peaceful aesthetic. ### Material Choices & Durability I build units using Boiling Water Resistant (BWR) plywood. This is non-negotiable for puja rooms because the combination of humidity from cleaning and daily usage can ruin standard wood. For the decorative back panel, I prefer laser-cut jaali patterns in MDF or Corian, which provide that classic intricate look while remaining easy to maintain. ### The Power of Lighting Lighting is what truly differentiates a standard shelf from a puja unit. I integrate warm, recessed COB spotlights in the canopy to highlight the idols, while using profile LED strips behind panels to create a soft, ethereal glow. This layered lighting approach allows you to adjust the ambiance from a bright, active prayer state to a calm, meditative corner in the evening. ### Customization for Your Needs Every family has different requirements. Some prefer pull-out trays to keep offerings organized, while others need soft-close drawers for storage of prayer essentials. We tailor the storage layout based on your specific habits, ensuring the unit remains clutter-free and visually clean. ### Pricing & Value My custom divine puja units generally range from ₹45,000 to ₹1,15,000 depending on the complexity of the design, size, and choice of finishes like high-gloss laminate or PU polish. I am happy to guide you on which materials offer the best return on investment for your specific home layout. ## About Kanchan Kolge I’m Kanchan.
