In our classes, I will show you how to clean every stem properly and layer them to achieve that perfect, stable dome shape that stays firm without damaging the petals. It is not about how many flowers you use, but how you hold and arrange them so they actually last. Learning the spiral technique isn't just a party trick; it is the foundation of professional floristry. When you arrange flowers in a spiral, the stems support each other, keeping the bouquet balanced and preventing the flower heads from drooping. At IFD, we strip your stems of foliage and thorns—a step beginners often skip—to ensure the bouquet sits comfortably in the hand and does not rot in the water. ### Why start your training here? * **Professional Mechanics:** We don't just teach you to put flowers together; we teach you how to structure them. You will practice spiral gripping until your hands gain the muscle memory to create professional-grade arrangements every time. * **Beyond the Bloom:** We cover conditioning—how to hydrate flowers so your bouquets don't wilt by the next day. You will also learn how to use professional packaging materials, from craft paper to Korean wrapping, to give your work a high-end look. * **Business Ready:** Whether you are gifting a bouquet to a friend or building a wedding business, these foundational skills are what separate a hobbyist from a professional. Join us for a workshop in Dadar or Pune, bring your passion, and leave with a bouquet that looks like it came from a high-end boutique. No prior experience is required; if you love flowers, we will help you arrange them. ## About Institute of Floral Design I am here to help you bloom, not compete.
