When Kokila Ajji and I received the Woman Achiever of the Year award, it was not just about entertainment, it was about the social messaging we weave into our comedy—from raising awareness about road safety to health initiatives. Receiving the Woman Achiever of the Year 2023 award from Vijayavani and Digvijaya News, in the presence of dignitaries like former CM Basavaraj Bommai, was a moment I will never forget. It was incredibly special to have Kokila Ajji on stage with me to share that honor. It validated that this art form—ventriloquism—is not just about making people laugh, but about connecting with them in a way that leaves a lasting impression. My journey has also been marked by other wonderful recognitions, including the Karnataka Sevarathna award. These accolades highlight the 'infotainment' aspect of my work. Whether it is a school festival, a corporate event in Bengaluru, or a social awareness skit about H1N1 or Dengue, my goal remains the same: use humor to bridge gaps. When I perform at events like the Anubandha Awards on Colors Kannada, I see how the puppet characters like Tarle Tata and Dinku become real to the audience. They are not just toys, they are my family, and seeing them being celebrated is the biggest compliment I could ask for. If you are looking for entertainment that is clean, meaningful, and deeply rooted in Kannada culture, I am ready to bring that same energy to your event. ## About Indushree Raveendra I am Indushree, a ventriloquist who brings characters like Dinku and Kokila Ajji to life. I do not just perform, I tell stories in Kannada that connect people across generations.
