## About Maharashtrian & Paithani Saree Portraits

Beyond just clicking photos, I spend real time getting the drape right. In my Chembur studio, I keep brass lamps, flower plates, and vintage props ready to bring that authentic, traditional vibe to your shoot. I’m right there with you to help adjust your pallu, naths, or jewelry so every shot captures both your personality and the legacy of the saree.

There is something timeless about a saree. It is not just clothing, it is a piece of family history. My goal with these portraits is to move beyond standard posing and capture the emotion of wearing these heirlooms. 

### The Cultural Experience
Whether you are documenting a special Akshaya Tritiya, celebrating Navratri, or simply want to create a legacy portrait for your family, I focus on the details that matter. We play with light to highlight the specific texture of your silk—the zari work of a Paithani or the heavy borders of a Banarasi—ensuring the fabric looks as rich on camera as it does in person.

### Why a Studio Portrait?
My Chembur studio offers a quiet space to slow down. Unlike event photography, where things move at lightning speed, here we have the breathing room to get the expressions perfect. We can experiment with traditional looks or mix in modern styling. I love incorporating props like traditional samai, brass plates, and seasonal flowers, which add layers of meaning to the frames. 

### How We Work
- **Pre-Shoot Planning:** We discuss your outfit and jewelry beforehand. If you have a specific style in mind—be it classic Maharashtrian or something more contemporary—we plan the lighting to match that mood.
- **Assistance on Set:** Draping a saree perfectly for photos is a skill. I am there to assist with adjustments, ensuring the pleats, pallu, and jewelry placement look elegant from every angle.
- **Authentic Portraits:** I avoid stiff, artificial poses. We aim for natural, graceful movements that make you feel comfortable and confident.
