Honestly, those grumpy, surprised, or curious faces are the best parts of the session. My process is simple. I give your baby space to explore at their own pace. This ensures we capture the true story of their personality instead of just a staged, perfect smile. The first birthday is such a big deal. You have made it through the sleepless nights, the first tooth, and the endless learning, and now it is time to celebrate. A cake smash session is not just about getting a picture of a kid with cake on their face. It is about the entire experience. When you book a session with me in Mumbai, my priority is keeping your little one happy. Some babies jump right into the cake, while others need a moment to understand what is happening. I do not force anyone to pose. If they want to crawl around or need a cuddle from mom or dad, we pause. The goal is to capture them as they are right now, whether they are feeling curious, excited, or even a little bit overwhelmed. My process is straightforward. We start with a comfortable, safe setup at my Tilak Nagar studio or in your home. I use natural lighting and minimal props so the focus stays entirely on your child's expressions. After we get those first-year portraits, we introduce the cake. Watching them explore the texture, the taste, and the mess is where the real fun happens. I provide 150-200+ high-resolution, naturally edited digital photos. These are not just snapshots. They are the honest, candid memories of your baby's first big milestone. If you have a specific theme in mind or prefer something simple and classic, let us talk about it. ## About Indira Thakur Hi, I am Indira.
