Sometimes a quiet moment with a book is all the inspiration I need. This video is a small collection of my art, my process, and my goals for the year. It's a mix of pencil sketches, cartoon art, and a peek at me working.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/be8f3078-83cc-4359-8693-5410649ecfd7) ## About Additional Work These sketches are where I ditch the commission rules and just experiment with lines. Take that pen and ink sketch of the reader, for example. It was not a job, but simply me enjoying the quiet focus of a book lover. I often need these raw, quick drawings to reset my creative batteries before starting a high-pressure painting, and they help me keep my style fresh. While my professional work usually revolves around portraits and specific client briefs, this section is a peek into my sketchbook. When I am not working on a 100-day challenge or shipping orders, I am usually trying something new. ### Why I create these pieces My artistic process relies on constant practice. Whether it is testing a new pen and ink technique or playing with anime styles, these experiments allow me to improve my blending and shading skills. If you see something here that inspires you, it helps me understand your taste better for a potential commission. ### What you will find here: - **Quick Sketches:** Spontaneous drawings that focus on mood rather than perfect realism. - **Work in Progress:** Early outlines and rough ideas for larger projects. - **Creative Explorations:** Using different mediums to see what works best. Everything you see here is made with the same dedication as my commissioned work, using quality materials. Even the filler paper I use is handmade with love because I believe art should be felt, not just seen. If you want a piece of art that feels personal, or if you have a unique idea that does not fit into a standard portrait category, let us chat about it. ## About Khushi Sharma I am Khushi.
