Whether it's a puppy learning basic mechanics or a working breed needing advanced protection work, I use positive reinforcement to build confidence and drive. ## Photos and videos - ![I believe in testing dogs hard to make them harder. Every session at your home or local ground is built around your dog's temperament, focusing on practical 'Out' commands and real-life scenarios—because a protection dog is only as good as its obedience under pressure. Training is not just about teaching a command; it is about building a relationship where your dog trusts your lead. My approach relies on the philosophy of 'test hard, train harder.' This doesn't mean harsh methods. It means challenging your dog's instincts in a controlled environment so that when real life happens—be it a sudden noise, a threat, or a high-distraction public space—your dog remains calm and reliable. My expertise is rooted in my work as a certified PSA Decoy. I understand how to safely activate a dog's natural drive using prey work, tugging, and bite development. This is how I trained my own American Pitbull, Thor, who made history as the first in India to clear the PSA PDC on a full bite suit. That certification wasn't just a win for us; it was proof that modern, positive techniques build stronger, smarter working dogs. Whether you are looking for puppy foundation work to channel natural energy, or advanced protection training including civil agitation and home defense, my focus remains on: * **Precision Obedience:** Ensuring commands like 'Heel', 'Down', and 'Out' work even under extreme pressure. * **Confidence Building:** Using tools like wobble boards and environmental desensitization to make your dog fearless but not aggressive. * **Real-World Simulations:** Training in your neighborhood, in your car, or at night to ensure your dog is ready for the reality of your environment, not just a training field. Training is a team effort. I don't just train your dog; I train you to be the handler your dog needs. When you and your dog are both confident in the rules, you get a loyal protector and a well-mannered companion. ## About The Gaurav Dog Trainer I am Gaurav.
