Whether I am conditioning a Rottweiler to accept a muzzle or helping a 60-day-old Labrador master the 'place' command, the process remains rooted in positive reinforcement and clear, consistent communication. I believe that training is about more than just obedience; it is about building a relationship where your dog truly wants to listen to you. My training philosophy is simple: test the dog hard, make the dog harder, but always with love. I bring the precision of professional PSA decoy training into everyday life to help dogs become stronger and smarter. When I work with a client, I am not just training the dog; I am teaching the pet parent how to speak their dog's language. ### Why My Methods Work Training should never be about force. My approach is centered on: * **Modern Positive Reinforcement:** I use marker training ('Yes', 'Good') to communicate success instantly. It builds confidence and makes the dog eager to learn. * **The Box Method & Luring:** I teach body awareness and rear-end pivoting using games. This helps your dog understand their own body, which is crucial for obedience. * **Distraction Proofing:** I don't just train in a quiet room. We go to parks and streets to ensure your dog is solid everywhere, not just in easy, familiar environments. ### Practical Skills for Every Dog Whether you have a tiny puppy or a high-drive working breed, I focus on the basics that actually matter for your daily life: * **Off-Leash Obedience:** Reliability even when your dog is not on a leash. * **Impulse Control:** Teaching your dog to wait for permission before eating or running out of a door. * **Crate & Muzzle Conditioning:** Making these tools feel like safe, positive spaces for your pet, rather than a punishment. I operate across Delhi NCR, coming to your home or local park to help you fix behaviour, build obedience, or prepare for sports. If you are ready to see a real change, let's get to work and give your dog the 'Shabash' they deserve. ## About The Gaurav Dog Trainer I am Gaurav, and for me, dog training is a way of life, not just work. My journey with my own Pitbull, Thor—the first in India to clear the PSA PDC—drives everything I do. I believe in 'shaping' behaviour with lots of encouragement, and I love helping pet parents build a solid, trusting bond with their dogs.
