Whether I am helping a rescue like Ammia learn impulse control or teaching a Rottweiler to accept a muzzle, I do not believe in shortcuts or old-school harshness. You will see me using the same positive methods with your dog that I used with my own Pitbull, Thor—plenty of 'Shabash' [well done] and clear, consistent boundaries so your dog actually wants to listen to you. You might be wondering if your dog can really change, especially if you are dealing with biting, pulling on the leash, or constant barking. I have worked with everything from rescued Indies to high-energy working breeds, and the answer is yes. My approach focuses on 'shaping' behavior. Instead of just correcting what your dog does wrong, I teach them what to do right. For instance, when I train the 'Place' command, I am not just teaching a dog to stay on a mat; I am giving them a designated safe spot to relax when things get chaotic at home. ### Why my methods work: * **Science-Based:** I rely on positive reinforcement. When a dog gets it right, they hear 'Shabash!' or 'Good boy!' immediately. * **Real-World Practice:** We do not just train in a studio. We work at your home, in your neighborhood, and on the streets where your dog actually faces distractions. * **Owner Coaching:** I do not just train your dog; I train you. You will be part of the final 15 minutes of every session to ensure you can handle your dog in any situation, not just with me around. From advanced aggression rehab to basic puppy manners, every session includes a clear action plan. If you are ready to stop guessing and start communicating with your dog, we will get there together. ## About The Gaurav Dog Trainer I am Gaurav, and dog training is my life, not just my work.
