## About Adult Basketball Program

### Why I Started This Program

Samay badal gaya hai (times have changed). After a full day of kaam (work), I know the mind and body need a break. I started this program for adults who want to swap office stress for basketball fitness with real people, not just screens.

### What You Get on the Court

- Stress relief through basketball - shooting hoops is the best way I know to forget deadlines.
- Game drills and basics - we focus on getting the footwork, dribbling, and shooting right, whether you’re rusty or regular.
- Social basketball sessions - it’s not just playing, it’s meeting folks from all walks, making friends, and finding a community.
- Fitness upgrade - this isn’t boring gym stuff. Our sessions get your heart pumping and your mood up.

### How We Train

- Beginner-friendly basketball drills for anyone wanting to jump back in.
- Simple strength and conditioning - no fancy equipment, just practical exercises.
- Good vibes only - I keep the atmosphere positive, no need for superstar skills.

### When & Where

- Bal Bharti School, Dwarka Sec 12, New Delhi
- Evening basketball classes: Tue, Thu, Sat (6:00-7:15 PM), Sat morning (6:30-8:00 AM)

### My Message

Don’t let kaam (work) steal your game. Come play, get fit, and find your squad. Badh-chadh ke hissa lo (participate enthusiastically) and give basketball another shot.

## Meet your expert

[IB Sports Academy](https://mytribe.in/ibsportsacademy)

### My story

Namaste, we’re IB Sports Academy, started by Ishwar Bhati in 2010. Basketball isn’t just sport for us, it’s a way to build dreams. Over 500 athletes trained, and yes, we’re proud of every single one. Got the Dr. Ajmer Singh Award – felt good, but what matters more is helping kids, especially those who don’t get chances. Pehle tha padhoge toh badhoge, ab hai, khelge toh badhoge! (Used to be study to grow, now play to grow!) That’s our mantra.

### My work

- **Basketball Coaching for Everyone**: We coach all ages - beginners, pros, even working folks. Special focus on holistic basketball coaching.
- **Training Philosophy**: 'Khelge Toh Badhoge!' – playing builds character, teamwork, and resilience, not just winners.
- **The IB Training Method**: We mix sports techniques for explosive power training, discipline, and game-ready mindset.
- **Community & Events**: We welcome all, especially basketball for underprivileged kids. Host tournaments, Parent's basketball matches, and more.
