We provide all the SDR hardware, Yagi antennas, and pre-configured laptops for every group. We handle the complex technical setup so you can spend your time learning to track the ISS and decode live weather images from NOAA satellites as they pass overhead. ### Our Approach to Space Science We run these workshops as a two-day immersion into satellite communication. This isn't a theory class where you just watch a presentation. You will physically set up a ground station. **Day 1: The Basics of Orbit & Tracking** We start by demystifying satellite orbits, payload systems, and frequency ranges. Using the hardware provided, you will learn to orient your antenna to catch a signal. We focus on real-time tracking, catching the International Space Station (ISS) as it makes its orbital pass over the region. **Day 2: Signal Decoding & Weather Imagery** This is where the data comes to life. We dive into digital communication modes like SSTV (Slow-Scan Television) and PSK (Phase Shift Keying). You will learn to capture raw signals from NOAA weather satellites and decode them on your screen to generate actual cloud-cover images of the Earth. ### Learning from Experts Every session is led by Shri B. A. Subramani, a retired ISRO scientist who has worked on missions like Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan. His role is to bridge the gap between complex orbital mechanics and what you see on your monitor. Whether you are a student or a retiree, he is there to answer the questions that textbooks miss. ### Institutional & Group Options While we host open batches in Navi Mumbai, we also bring this entire setup to colleges and institutions across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. For campus workshops, we require an AV-equipped hall and terrace access, and we handle the transport of all SDRs, antennas, and laptops to your location. ## About i-RoboChakra I'm Krishna Rao, and we started this because we saw kids—and adults—craving real science, not just screen time.
