## About Blooming in Water: Our Flowers

When you switch to a hydroponic setup, you aren't just saving water; you are essentially controlling the plant's flowering cycle. We find that specific nutrient tweaks during the bloom phase make marigolds and nasturtiums flower longer and more vibrantly than they ever would in traditional garden soil...

Growing flowers in water might seem counter-intuitive, but it is one of the most efficient ways to bring color into an urban home. We have spent years fine-tuning our nutrient solutions, and the results are right there in our greenhouse.

### Why Hydroponic Flowers?
- **Control and Consistency:** Without soil, you avoid soil-borne pests and diseases. This means healthier stems, brighter petals, and fewer chemicals involved.
- **Edible Varieties:** We focus on plants like nasturtiums, which are not just beautiful but edible with a distinct peppery kick. They look great on a plate and even better in a vertical setup.
- **Space Efficiency:** You don't need a sprawling garden. Whether it is a small wall-mounted unit or a standard drip system, flowers like marigolds thrive in tight, controlled spaces.

### Our Process
It starts with the seedling nursery. We germinate carefully, moving saplings into our hydroponic systems only when they are strong enough to take up the nutrient-rich water. For flowers, we adjust the EC (Electrical Conductivity) levels, which tells the plant to prioritize blossom production over leaf growth. It is science, but you don't need a lab degree to do it. We teach you exactly how to manage these levels during our workshops, so you can walk away knowing how to keep your home garden blooming all year round.
