We handle the balance of low-glycemic veggies like bottle gourd and capsicum, ensuring your dog gets therapeutic nutrition that fits the exact macro profile prescribed by your vet, without any hidden preservatives or fillers. Managing a dog's health through food often feels like a guessing game. Whether you are dealing with a senior dog needing liver support, a pup with sensitive allergies, or a weight loss journey, the nutritional balance makes all the difference. ### Our Therapeutic Approach We don't believe in 'one-size-fits-all' bags. For dogs requiring specific medical diets, we adjust our standard fresh-cooked formula to meet veterinary requirements: * **Renal & Liver Support:** We reduce protein content to roughly 40% to lower the workload on the kidneys and liver, while increasing moisture levels. * **Weight Management & Diabetes:** Our low-carb, grain-free recipes replace starchy ingredients with high-fiber, low-glycemic vegetables like pumpkin and green beans to keep your dog feeling full without blood sugar spikes. * **Hypoallergenic Options:** We carefully rotate proteins and eliminate high-starch vegetables like potatoes or carrots for dogs suffering from environmental allergies or skin sensitivities. ### Why Fresh Matters for Medical Needs Commercial therapeutic kibble often relies on fillers that can exacerbate inflammation. Because we cook our meals fresh to order in Vimanapura, you can physically see the quality of the lean cuts and fresh vegetables. There is no mystery mash—just honest food that is easier for sensitive systems to digest. If your vet has given you a specific macro-nutrient target or a list of restricted ingredients, let us know. We work with those prescriptions to ensure your dog stays on track while actually enjoying their dinner. ## About Hungry Eyes We are Nandini and Soubhik, and we started Hungry Eyes because we wanted our own dogs to eat food that looked like real food. We cook these therapeutic, fresh-ingredient meals for other dogs in Bangalore just like we do for our own, keeping it simple, transparent, and completely free of mystery.
