Whether you are prepping for Eid, a small house party, or just want a festive pick-me-up, these patterns are lightweight and dry quickly, making them very practical. I focus on negative space, using floral vines and mandalas that accentuate your natural hand shape rather than hiding it. My process is simple. I use triple-sifted Rajasthan henna, mixed only with essential oils. This gives a natural, dark maroon stain that develops beautifully over 24 to 48 hours. Because these designs are less dense, they are also faster to apply, which is great if you have a group of friends wanting mehendi at the same time.
