Whether you are planning a traditional Lohri bonfire or need a strictly sattvic Navratri thali, I handle the cooking with the care of a home kitchen. For Navratri, I prepare everything keeping in mind the sanctity of the festival. This means using only kuttu ka atta [buckwheat flour], sendha namak, and strictly avoiding onion, garlic, or any non-vegetarian ingredients. You get comforting dishes like samak rice, vrat-wale aloo, and sabudana kheer, just like you would make at home. For other festivals like Lohri or Raksha Bandhan, I lean into traditional Punjabi and North Indian favorites.
