I don't just place pots; I assess your sunlight, your available railing space, and your daily schedule. We then pick a mix of plants that won't just look good on day one, but will actually thrive long after I finish the setup. ### How I approach a balcony transformation I treat every space differently because no two balconies in Mumbai have the same light or wind exposure. Here is how I usually handle a makeover: **1. Assessing your light & wind:** Before bringing in a single plant, we look at the sun. Does your balcony get harsh afternoon sun, or is it shaded by other buildings? This determines whether we use sun-loving Bougainvillea and Ixora or shade-friendly ferns and indoor varieties. **2. Vertical solutions for small spaces:** If you don't have floor space, don't worry. I use vertical wall planters, hanging pots, and railing brackets to add greenery without cluttering your walking area. It's the best way to get a 'jungle vibe' in a compact apartment. **3. Practical plant selection:** I only pick plants that make sense for you. If you are busy, we go for low-maintenance options that don't need daily attention. If you want a kitchen garden, we integrate fresh herbs like Kadi Patta, Pudina, and Lemongrass right into your setup. **4. Setting it up to last:** I don't just leave you with a bunch of plants. I prepare the soil with the right organic manure, install proper drainage to prevent waterlogging, and set up your pots so they are secure. ### Can I maintain it for you? Setting up is the easy part; the maintenance is where most people get stuck. If you are worried about pruning, fertilizing, or dealing with pests, I offer regular maintenance services. I visit your home to prune, check for bugs, and top up your fertilizer so your 'green world' stays healthy throughout the year. ## About House of Garden I am Anirudh, and I believe 'Plant nahi hai toh jaan nahi hai'.
