Whether you are picking up an air rifle for the first time or training for competitive state-level events, our 8-day beginner batches provide unlimited pellets and personalized coaching on stance, breathing, and trigger control. At Hosur Rifle Club, we believe that rifle shooting is about more than hitting a target. It is a mental and physical discipline that improves concentration, memory power, and fitness. We established this academy to give local shooters in Hosur a professional space to train, regardless of whether you are a child of eight or an adult looking to master a new skill. ### Why Train With Us? * **Structured Coaching:** Our training goes beyond basics. We mix marksmanship with core fitness drills, yoga for stability, and concentration exercises. You will learn weapon safety, sight alignment, and trigger operation under the guidance of experienced trainers. * **Modern Infrastructure:** You get access to a 4000 sq. ft. area with 10 lanes, AC, and 24-hour CCTV surveillance for safety. * **Career Potential:** We guide students interested in leveraging shooting skills for sports quota opportunities in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. ### The Training Process Our introductory batches run for 8 days, with 90-minute sessions daily. This gives you enough hands-on time to understand the .177 caliber air rifle or pistol and assess your potential. We provide all the equipment, including standard ISSF targets. At the end of the camp, you will take a skill test and receive a certificate, with opportunities for merit-based scholarships for high performers. ## About Hosur Rifle Club We are Hosur’s first shooting academy, started by Dr. Somasundaram to help locals turn marksmanship into a competitive skill. Our trainers focus on the complete athlete, blending physical stamina, yoga for focus, and precise shooting technique to get you ready for the range.
