What you see in these photos—couples sharing our Chili Lemon chutney, families passing around our Diwali boxes—is exactly what we do. We don't just sell pickles; we hand-peel, sun-dry, and pack every single batch in our Vikhroli kitchen. If you are looking for that specific 'ghar ka swaad' you grew up with, this is the place to start. ### Why our pickles feel different We don't use machines to chop our mangoes or lemons, and we don't rush the drying process in a factory. Everything we make follows old-school recipes that we’ve gathered from our own dadi-nani’s kitchens and from customers who shared their family secrets with us. When you see a jar of our Gujarati Chhunda or Maharashtrian Thecha, you are getting something made with fresh, local ingredients, sun-dried the hard way. It takes time, but that is the only way to get the right texture without adding fake colours or preservatives. ### More than just a condiment Our pickles have moved from the dining table to the gift box. We noticed early on that people were looking for gifts that actually meant something, rather than just another box of generic sweets. Whether it is our 'Aam Sutra' box for mango lovers or the 'Punjabi Pataka' set for those who like it spicy, these hampers are built to be part of your celebrations. ### We are a work in progress We are honest about our journey. We have dealt with raw material shortages and production hiccups in the past, but we take feedback seriously. When you share a review or tell us how we can improve, we listen. We are trying to keep these heirloom recipes alive and affordable for everyone, from Mumbai to across India. If you have a specific diet or preference, like Jain-friendly or low-oil options, just let us know. We usually have a batch ready or can guide you on what fits your needs. ## About Homepick Hi, I'm Chintan. I started Homepick because I was tired of big brands missing that true, homemade touch. My team and I hand-craft every jar in small batches, just like our grannies did, because the real taste of home is worth the extra time.
