Today, my Najafgarh kitchen follows those exact same slow-cooked traditions. We do not use industrial vats or factory lines; every batch of our imli or aam chutney is still hand-pounded and slow-cooked in small quantities, ensuring that 'maa ke haath ka' flavor stays real and consistent in every single jar. ### Roots in Gharkaswad The idea for Homemade Love was never about building a factory. It started with a simple longing for *gharkaswad*—the taste of childhood summer vacations, school tiffins, and rainy afternoons. When I started this, I made a promise: if my dadima wouldn't put it in her kitchen, we wouldn't put it in our jars. ### Our Slow-Cooked Process Real food cannot be rushed. We avoid sodium benzoate, artificial colors, or chemical preservatives to extend shelf life. Instead, we rely on the age-old preservation methods passed down in our family: * **Slow-Cooking:** Our chutneys are reduced slowly over low heat to naturally thicken and intensify flavor. * **Natural Preservatives:** We use high-quality mustard or sesame oils, salt, and jaggery—the same staples found in any Indian home pantry. * **Small Batches:** By preparing limited quantities, we ensure that the quality of every jar matches exactly what I would serve to my own daughters. ### Why It Matters It is about more than just pickles or chutneys; it is about transparency. My team of local women is the heartbeat of this brand. Together, we are proving that you don't need industrial shortcuts to run a successful food business. Whether you are in Delhi or shipping to another part of the country, that jar you open is packed with the same care and intention as a homemade meal. ## About Homemade Love I am the face behind Homemade Love, a home kitchen built on memories and family recipes. Every jar is a labor of love that I personally oversee to ensure you get the same 'gharkaswad' I grew up eating.
