It is because I spent years learning pitch-making from scratch to ensure true bounce and pace. When you book a net session, you are not just getting space; you are getting the same 22-yard red soil wicket that has hosted IPL teams and Test players, rolled and marked by my ground staff before you even arrive. ### Built for the Grind, Not Just for Show I didn't start this academy to run a business; I started it to solve a problem. Growing up in Borivali, we used to drag our kit bags through crowds all the way to Churchgate, only to wait hours for a 15-minute net session. I vowed that if I ever built an academy, the infrastructure would be the priority. **What makes our wickets different?** - **Professional Grade Red Soil:** We use the same material and curation techniques found at top-tier venues. This means consistent carry for fast bowlers and true bounce for batters. - **Maintenance matters:** My ground staff rolls and marks the crease before every single slot. You aren't playing on a dusty, uneven strip; you are playing on a surface designed to simulate match conditions. - **Floodlit Flexibility:** We know most people have work or school during the day. That is why our floodlights are high-wattage, designed for shadowless visibility so you can train hard even after sunset. ### Training Options Whether you are a solo player looking to work on your technique, or a club needing a venue for a T20 match, we have setups that work. - **Outdoor Red Soil Nets:** Best for serious batting and bowling drills. - **Indoor Astro-Turf:** Fully covered and ventilated, perfect for monsoon training or late-night sessions when the weather turns. - **Full Ground Rentals:** If you need the space for match simulation or team fielding drills, our center wicket is available with 60m+ boundaries. We don't promise you will become a legend overnight, but we do promise that the quality of your practice won't be the reason you hold back. ## About Homeground Cricket Academy I am Paul, and I started Homeground because I lived the struggle of finding a decent place to practice in Mumbai. I built this place to make sure local boys in Borivali-Kandivali have the facility I never had growing up. When you train here, you are training on the ground I built for my own dreams.
