We do not just watch you hit balls. We break down your stance, grip, and head position during every session to ensure you are ready for competitive match pressure, not just local nets. ### Why Turf Wickets Matter Most academies in the city force you to practice on matting or concrete. That is why you struggle when you hit a real match in the Kanga League or Giles Shield. The ball behaves differently on turf—it nips back, it bounces, it tests your technique. At our Kandivali facility, we give you that real-match bounce from day one. ### Our Coaching Philosophy My mantra is simple: *Arey tension mat le, ball ko aane de!* (Don't stress, let the ball come). We focus on: * **Technical Foundation:** We fix your backlift and bat-flow before we worry about power. * **Mental Conditioning:** Batting is 80% mental. We simulate match scenarios where you have to chase a target or defend your wicket under pressure. * **Video Analysis:** We record your sessions so you can actually see where your feet are moving or where your head is dropping. ### Who This Is For Whether you are a beginner learning to hold the bat or an U-19 player preparing for MCA selection trials, we have a slot for you. We run weekend foundation batches for school kids and advanced high-performance weekday sessions for those chasing a professional career. If you are ready to put in the hours, I am here to help you get there. ## About Homeground Cricket Academy I started this academy because I got tired of dragging my kit bag to Churchgate for just 20 minutes of batting. I wanted the kids in Borivali and Kandivali to have international-standard turf wickets right in their backyard. Come by, let's see where your game is at.
