## Meet your expert

### My story

Hi, we’re Homeground Cricket Academy, started by Paul Valthaty, ek Borivali-Kandivali ka ladka (boy from Borivali-Kandivali). Paul used to drag his kit bag to Churchgate for just a few minutes of batting, so he built this academy in Kandivali. We learned pitch-making from scratch, made sure our wickets are top class. Now, even IPL pros drop in. Our dream? Give kids here the chances Paul never had. Maybe one day, they’ll play for Mumbai or India.

### My work

- **Cricket coaching for every age**: We train U-12 to Open age, with indoor and outdoor sessions for juniors and seniors.
- **Top-notch professional cricket pitches**: Our wickets are famous - IPL players like Dinesh Karthik and Shubman Gill have trained here.
- **Cricket mental performance & fitness**: We go beyond skills, working on focus, emotional control, and fitness for a winning mindset.
- **Real match experience in MCA Kanga League tournaments**: Our players compete in major MCA events like Kanga League and Giles Shield for real exposure.
- **International cricket scholarship opportunities**: Top students have trained at ICC Abu Dhabi, even practiced with England U-19 squads.
- **Friendly, supportive coaching style**: Coaches here are easy-going. Our mantra: Are tension mat le, ball ko aane de! (Don’t stress, let the ball come!)
