Whether it is boiling Pongal in a real earthen pot, playing with organic Holi colors, or learning the story behind Ganesha with clay molding, kids do not just watch. They participate. It is about sticky snacks, messy hands, and actually feeling the tradition, not just talking about it. ### How We Celebrate Culture is best learned through experience, not textbooks. At our Koramangala space, we believe the best way to understand a festival is to live it. When we celebrate Sankranti, we don't just hang decorations; we light firewood and watch traditional Pongal being prepared in earthen pots. During our Holi parties, we focus on sensory play with organic colors, water games, and flower petals to celebrate spring safely. ### Why It Works for Kids Every event we host—from Dussehra, from Dussehra—whether it is Onam, Christmas, or Chinese New Year—is designed for ages 2 to 9. We pair storytelling with active movement. You will find kids dancing to festive beats, learning dandiya steps, or decorating cookies. By connecting the history of the festival with a craft or activity, the stories stick. ### What to Expect - **Hands-on Crafting:** From making Ganesha idols out of clay to designing rangolis and creating Pookalam crafts, our materials are safe and kid-friendly. - **Inclusive Atmosphere:** Whether you are a member or a visitor, our events are open to everyone who wants to make friends and learn something new. - **Seasonal Variety:** Our calendar changes with the seasons. We follow the festival cycle, so there is always something new happening, from Dussehrahra—from Year of the Snake celebrations to Easter egg hunts. Since we are located in Koramangala 3rd Block, we are easy to reach for families in the neighborhood. If your child is looking for a space where they can be noisy, creative, and curious, come join our gang. We promise you will leave with a smile and maybe a little paint on your clothes. ## About Hoo Hippocampus We are Hoo Hippocampus, and we are not your typical library where you have to whisper.
