## About Children's Library Membership

### Why I Love Our Library

I want kids to feel like reading is pura magic, not something they *have* to do. With our children's library membership, it’s not just about borrowing books. It’s about making new friends, discovering wild stories, and even getting a bit messy with crafts or festival fun.

### What You Get

- Borrow books from our carefully chosen, kid-approved shelves - no random textbooks, promise.
- Enjoy our cozy space, which feels more like a friend's house than a school library.
- Special entry and discounts for all our events and workshops. Sometimes, members join for free!

### Not Just Books: Real Experiences

- Meet your favourite authors and illustrators. Sometimes you even get your book signed!
- Storytime and crafts every weekend - from making ocean creatures to spooky Halloween masks.
- Celebrate everything - Holi, Pongal, Christmas, you name it, we party.
- Fun reading challenges (like our epic Reading Bingo) to keep things exciting.

### For Every Age

- Toddlers who just want to flip pages and chew a bit on the corner
- Preschoolers ready for their first big stories
- Early readers and older kids who want something new every week
- Parents who want to join the fun

### Why Join?

If your child loves a good story or just wants to hang with other book-loving kids, this is their adda (hangout). Plus, it’s a lot more fun than any boring old library.

## Meet your expert

[Hoo Hippocampus](https://mytribe.in/hippocampuslibrary)

### My story

Hey! We’re Hoo Hippocampus, not your regular shhh-library. Kids here don’t tiptoe – they shout HOLI HAI! and get messy with crafts, meet authors, make fairy wings, and join wild Harry Potter parties. Started with just a wild idea: books and fun, always together. Every festival, every story, we celebrate big. We want every kid to feel like family and find joy in reading. Come join our noisy book gang!

### My work

- **Children's Library & Experience Centre**: We offer a lively space for kids to discover books, play, and grow together.
- **Festive Events & Author Meetups**: From Onam and Christmas parties to author meet-and-greet for children, we make books come alive.
- **Hands-on Craft & Sensory Play**: Kids get creative with slime, nature crafts, and sensory play for kids. No boring corners here.
- **Adventurous Reading Programs**: Our reading board game, The Great Tale Chase, makes every book a new adventure for your child.
