In every judging gig, I start by performing a judge's showcase to set the energy and demonstrate the level of technique I'm looking for. I provide live, constructive feedback on the microphone, breaking down musicality and foundation so participants understand exactly how to level up their craft. When I step into a judge's seat, my goal is to push the scene forward. My judging process is based on three pillars: musicality, foundation, and execution. I've judged events ranging from 1-vs-1 all-style battles at Jain University to western group dance competitions at BCWCC. ### My Approach to Judging * **Live Feedback:** I believe in sharing knowledge. During competitions, I use the mic to give immediate, honest feedback to participants so they walk away with something to work on. * **The Showcase:** A judge shouldn't just be an observer. I always kick off with a high-intensity freestyle performance to set the standard for the stage and get the crowd pumped. * **Fair Scoring:** Whether it's tie-breakers or final decisions, I stay objective. I look for the 'spice'—the unique personality and style a dancer brings to their movement—not just memorized choreography. ### Why Book Me for Your Event? I understand what it takes to organize a successful dance event because I'm part of the community. I'm based in Namma Bengaluru, but I'm ready to travel across India for your college fest, brand activation, or private dance battle. I don't just show up to judge; I show up to support the culture and ensure your event has the right vibe from start to finish. ## About Hemanth I'm Hemanth, but the streets know me as HE-Mantis. I've spent years battling in cyphers and studying the culture, so when I step into a judge's seat, I'm looking for the fire, the technique, and that unique spice a dancer brings. I don't just score; I connect with the community and help the next generation level up.
