We guide you through using different graphite grades to build value and create lifelike textures, ensuring you understand exactly how light and shadow define a realistic portrait. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your technical skills, our drawing and portraiture workshops provide a structured environment to grow. We believe that art is a skill that can be developed with practice, patience, and the right guidance. ### What We Cover Our curriculum moves from the basics of still life to advanced human portraiture. You will start by understanding proportions, perspective, and lighting. We teach you how to see the world like an artist, focusing on how light falls on objects to create form and dimension. As you progress, we introduce advanced shading techniques, helping you master contrast to bring realism to your work. ### Why Our Approach Works At our West Patel Nagar center, we provide a studio-like setting with easels, allowing you to learn in a professional atmosphere. Our instructors offer personalized feedback during every session, ensuring you understand not just how to draw a line, but why it needs to go there. We encourage students to bring their own references or choose subjects they are passionate about, making the learning process engaging and personal. We also organize group shading workshops and provide opportunities for students to participate in exhibitions through Nav Shri Art & Culture, giving you a platform to showcase your progress alongside other budding artists. ## About Himanshu Art Institute We started Himanshu Art Institute 15 years ago to create a space where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their skill level.
