We deep dive into diagnosing Normal, Dry, Oily, and Combination skin. You will learn why applying an oil-control face wash on a dry zone causes sensitivity, and how to safely treat skin without damaging the moisture barrier. This is the difference between giving a client a glow or giving them a breakout. ### Safety and Chemical Handling Beauty work involves chemicals, and mistakes can be costly. I teach strict protocols for: * **Bleach Application:** We cover why you never bleach freshly waxed skin (and what exactly happens to your pores when you do). * **Chemical Treatments:** Understanding Trichology—the hair shaft, cuticle, and cortex—before you even touch Keratin, Botox, or Rebonding chemicals. * **Product Literacy:** You will learn to distinguish between what a Cosmetologist treats on the outer layer and what a Dermatologist must handle medically.
