Because I mix my organic henna with triple-sifted BAQ powder and essential oils, the paste does the hard work for you. It starts as a bright orange when you wash it off and naturally darkens to a rich maroon-black over the next 48 hours, even if you just live your normal life. It all starts with the ingredients. I am obsessed with quality, so I use 100% Organic Body Art Quality (BAQ) henna powder. When you mix that with high-quality tea tree and eucalyptus essential oils, you get a paste that gives a superior dye release. Many people think you need to keep the paste on overnight or wrap it up to get a dark color, but that is not the case with my fresh, handmade cones. Because the paste is super smooth and the essential oils are pure, the stain develops quickly. Here is what you can expect: 1. Fresh Application: After 4-5 hours of paste contact, remove it gently. You will see a vibrant, pumpkin orange color. This is the sign of pure henna. 2. 24 Hours: The stain will start to oxidize. Keep it away from water and harsh soaps during this window for the best results. 3. 48 Hours: Watch the color deepen from orange to a rich maroon and, eventually, a stunning dark brown or near-black. This result does not come from chemicals or black henna, which I never use. It comes from patience and proper organic ingredients.
